MORI WIN launches prediction markets, compares itself to Polymarket
MORI WIN, the iGaming platform built by streamer Professor Moriarty, launched a prediction-markets section on August 11 where users can bet on everything from political outcomes to the price of the platform’s own MORI token.
What’s on MORI WIN’s prediction markets
Twenty-one markets are live so far, covering political events, MORI token price movements, and other outcomes, and the platform lets anyone create a new market instead of waiting for the operator to add one, a self-service approach most prediction markets don’t offer at launch. The announcement, posted through the official MORI COIN Telegram channel, explicitly compared the feature to Polymarket and promised more markets are coming as the section grows.
A streamer with 3.3 million YouTube subscribers behind the platform gives it a built-in audience that most prediction-market launches don’t start with, though whether that audience actually trades on 21 markets is a separate question from whether they watch the channel.
MORI WIN’s token-based prediction markets
MORI WIN was first announced in May 2026 as part of a broader Moriarty ecosystem that also includes MORI, a token running on the Solana blockchain. Some of the new markets loop directly back into that ecosystem — users can bet on where the MORI token’s price goes or when Moriarty’s next piece of content drops, turning the prediction markets into a second layer on top of the token itself.
That’s a structural difference from Polymarket, where markets track outside-world events the platform itself has no stake in. Here, the platform, the token, and the thing being predicted sometimes belong to the same person, which changes the incentives behind a market in ways a fully external event never would.
Letting your own audience bet on your own token’s price is either a clever way to keep them engaged or a conflict of interest wearing a prediction-market costume — probably both, depending on which market actually resolves in whose favor.
