Roobet’s crypto deposits crash 47% in a single week

Roobet’s on-chain deposit volume dropped from $165 million to $88.1 million between September 21 and 28, the steepest decline of any brand tracked in Tanzanite’s weekly crypto casino report, with no public explanation offered for the drop.

The steepest fall on the board

Roobet’s on-chain deposit volume fell from $165 million to $88.1 million between September 21 and 28, according to weekly data from blockchain analytics platform Tanzanite, which tracks crypto casino deposits across Ethereum, Solana, Tron, and BSC. That’s a drop of $78.1 million, the steepest of any brand Tanzanite tracked that week, and it alone accounts for a meaningful share of the total movement across the sector. No public explanation has surfaced for the decline. Roobet hasn’t issued a statement addressing it, and nothing in recent coverage points to a specific incident behind the number, which leaves the drop sitting as an unexplained data point rather than the result of any confirmed event.

Gamdom and 1win posted smaller but still sharp declines, down 22% and 13% respectively, while most of the market’s larger brands held closer to flat. Stake, still the largest platform Tanzanite tracks by a wide margin, grew 5% to $516 million, and Duel added 1% to reach $90.1 million.

Smaller platforms, bigger swings

The bigger percentage swings showed up further down the list. Duelbits more than doubled its deposits, up 114% to $12.1 million, and BetFury grew 67% to $15.6 million. Shuffle added 23% to reach $45.6 million, while smaller platforms like Degen City and CoinCasino posted even larger percentage gains off a much thinner base, up 74% and 38% respectively. Those jumps are easier to read as normal volatility at low volume than as a trend, since a platform moving from a few hundred thousand dollars to just over a million can swing 70% or more on ordinary week-to-week variance.

Average deposit size varied just as widely as volume. Casinobet posted the highest average deposit in Tanzanite’s data at $15,300, while Jackpotbet’s average sat at $64.30, a gap that says more about each platform’s typical player base than about growth or decline. Roobet’s current numbers come roughly two months after a data breach exposed streamer information tied to the platform, though Tanzanite’s report draws no connection between that incident and this week’s deposit figures.

“

“A 47% drop with no stated cause isn’t a story about what happened, it’s a reminder that the biggest number in a weekly report is often the one nobody’s explaining.”
